We are honored to have Maria join Evolution Reentry Services volunteering her time to our support group for family members of justice-impacted individuals.
As a mother and wife, Maria endured the federal prison system when her mother made some poor choices over a decade ago. while navigating the complexity of family matters, Maria chose to educate herself and graduated from Albertus Magnus College with receiving her Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration on the Juvenile justice system.
Maria intimately understands the anxiety, anger, shame, and questions that might be consuming family members. Maria has navigated the intricate challenges of the legal system as an impacted family member giving her a unique understanding of what other daughters feel when their mother faces incarceration.
Maria, is a paralegal and firmly believes in working with families as they face their own unique challenges with having a loved one incarcerated.
